Open Desk Membership

The Open Desk Membership includes 24/7 access. You will receive a personal door code that will allow you to enter the office at any time.

You can’t leave things out on the open desks overnight, for example a workspace set up for the next day, but we do have lockers available for $10/month as a membership add-on. If you have something bigger like a monitor that won’t fit in your locker space, you can store it on top of the lockers if you wish. For more space options, we do recommend a Dedicated Desk, Office Pod, or Private Office Membership.

Mail handling, inclusion on our logo wall, and Google listing confirmation do not come included, but you can select the add-on option for “Virtual Office” at checkout (+$15/month). This includes a personal mail folder and incoming mail/package notifications, as well as mail management software/app for shred, scan, forward, and pickup requests. You also get your logo displayed in our lobby!

Createscape has an equipment checkout station with keyboards, mice, laptop chargers, phone/tablet chargers, headphones, microphones, adapters and cables, and more. There are also laptop stands and monitors available in each work room. All of our equipment is free for members and guests to use for 1 day at a time on a first come, first serve basis. Please sign in and out the equipment you are borrowing on the checkout sheet at the station.

If you are bringing a guest in for a short meeting (1 hour or less) in the open seating areas or for a meeting room reservation, they do not need to check in unless you want to direct them to get a guest code from our Welcome Desk. Our Open Desk Membership includes 2 free guest day passes each month. If you would like to redeem a pass, please have your guest sign in at the tablet in front of the Welcome Desk in our lobby.

We welcome well-behaved, quiet dogs at our office as long as you agree to and fill out our pet policy form so we can keep it on file. Just make sure to take them outside regularly, use a leash when appropriate, and keep an eye on them at all times.

Complimentary meeting room booking credits and guest passes are refilled on your member account each month but they do not roll over, so you can only use them during the month long period that they are assigned. If needed, additional guest day passes can be added to your account for the member price of $20, or $5 off our regular rate for day passes.

If you are paying upfront for at least 3 months at a time, we can generate a custom invoice for you with a 10% discount applied on the total of membership cost. Keep in mind that we can not offer refunds if you opt in to this option and ask to cancel early.

The member portal gives you full access to switch membership types for upcoming months, or cancel when you need to. If you would like to make a membership change mid-month, just reach out to us or see staff at the Welcome Desk and we can create an invoice to reflect the prorated change of plans.

You are more than welcome to make phone calls and have conversations in any of the work rooms or the kitchen as long as you use indoor voices and the volume level is kept low to be courteous to others working in proximity to you. Additionally, we have 5 call rooms available to drop into for some privacy. Speaker phone calls are not allowed in the coworking rooms or open areas- please use a phone room if you need to put your call on speaker. Our two smaller meeting rooms are also options for taking private calls as long as they are empty and you are not conflicting with a paid reservation. There are tablets with meeting room reservation time frames in real time available outside of each room.

Our spacious, free parking lot is located around back of the building next to our main entrance. There is additional parking in front of the building on Tillery St., and alongside nearby neighborhood streets. A bike rack is located next to the main building entrance around back. Vehicles must not be parked in our parking lot longer than 24 hours at a time. Building security periodically monitor the parking lot for abandoned vehicles and other issues.

There are a lot of awesome East Austin places nearby to get breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks. Native Grocery is located across our parking lot and serves tacos and Mediterranean food. We offer a 10% discount for military, students, teachers, artists, nonprofit organizations, and groups of 4 or more. Discounts cannot be combined. You may apply for a discount here.
